AFRCT served as the Event Sponsor for “Fashion Meets the Phil,” a celebration of music and fashion that featured the music of the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Steven Kerstein, and the designs of the Woodbury University School of Fashion Design that were featured on several members of the orchestra and the evening’s solo artist. The concert was performed to a packed house at the renowned Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena.

AFRCT partner, Steven E. Trytten, serves as the President of the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra, and was the emcee for the evening’s festivities. AFRCT also sponsored a pre-concert reception for supporters of the Burbank Philharmonic and Woodbury University.

Steve commented that “We were gratified to see such enthusiastic response to our collaboration of music and fashion at this concert, our season opener. We have a great season planned, and we’re already planning a comparable event for next year’s season opener. As a charitable organization, our mission is to bring arts to the community. With the help of our sponsors, we were able to take our mission to a new level at this concert. Thank you, AFRCT!”
