Becky Shrader is an associate in the firm’s litigation department.
Immediately prior to joining the firm, Becky prosecuted judicial foreclosures and defended creditors in litigated matters involving consumer protection statutes and real estate matters in Ohio. Her experience also includes several years practicing in the area of insurance defense litigation, handling a variety of cases including personal injury, construction defect, trucking liability, employment law, and professional negligence. Becky has successfully prosecuted and defended lawsuits on behalf of her clients through motions for summary judgment, trials and appeals.
Becky received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University (B.A. English) in 1992 and her J.D. from Capital University Law School (J.D. cum laude) in 2003. She is admitted to the practice of law in the states of Ohio and Washington, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States Courts of Appeals, Sixth and Ninth Circuits.
Becky is committed to the mentorship of young attorneys and law students, having participated in the Ohio Supreme Court’s Lawyer-to-Lawyer Program, Capital University’s Women’s Law Association Mentorship Program, and Capital University’s Bar Tutoring Program. She was admitted in the Ohio State Bar in 2003, and the Washington State Bar in 2011.
Outside of the office, Becky enjoys exploring the western United States with her husband and daughter.
