Michael Rapkine is an associate in AFRCT’s litigation department.  Michael’s practice focuses on a broad range of state and federal litigation with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation and lender liability matters.

Prior to joining AFRCT, Michael practiced in downtown Los Angeles at Hennigan, Bennett & Dorman, LLP (2002-2008).  During this period, Michael was part of the legal team that represented the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Priceline.com, Rabobank, as well as First Community Bancorp and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pacific Western National Bank.

Michael graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2002.  During law school, Michael worked as a summer intern in Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker's London office, where he performed due diligence within their M&A division.  He received his bachelor’s degree in political science and business administration from UCLA, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.
