Robert C. Little is an associate in AFRCT’s litigation department. He has been a litigator and appellate attorney for more than 15 years, with an extensive background in civil litigation, administrative law and mandamus, and appellate proceedings.
Robert has advised and represented individuals, business entities, and public agencies in wide-ranging litigation and appellate contexts, including state and federal trial courts, the California Court of Appeal and California Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and administrative proceedings before the California Office of Administrative Hearings. He has handled cases, both plaintiff-side and defense, involving business, banking, real estate, and employment issues. He has also achieved successful results in arbitrations and mediations. Robert served as lead trial and appellate counsel in Hayes v. California Department of Developmental Services (Alta California Regional Center), 138 Cal.App.4th 1523, 42 Cal.Rptr.3d 363 (2006).
Robert earned his J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University, and his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the District of Columbia Circuit, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His public service record includes presiding over and adjudicating civil legal proceedings as a judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
