Debbi Moore is the senior estate planning paralegal specialist in AFRCT’s estate planning and trust administration group and has over 25 years of experience in estate planning and related tax matters. After graduating as the salutatorian of her class at the University of West Los Angeles, Debbi began her paralegal career with the Los Angeles law firm of Irell & Manella where she worked for over 13 years handling complex estate and tax planning matters.

Debbi joined AFRCT in 2005 after relocating back to Los Angeles from Atlanta, Georgia where she focused her work as an estate planning specialist with mid-sized law firms specializing in asset protection and business succession planning. Having a a keen interest in the development of the estate planning and probate paralegal profession, Debbi taught the Estate Planning class at her alma mater to aspiring paralegals, and continues to mentor those in the paralegal profession who express an interest in the estate planning and probate area.

Prior to finding her way into the paralegal profession, Debbi studied business administration at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia while working as a specialist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency in Washington, D.C., assisting victims of natural disasters and working with developers in flood plain areas.

Her late husband, Steven Moore, worked for Lockheed Martin, and was a nationally known aviation artist whose works hang in the Pentagon and White House and are distributed in aviation and military art galleries across the United States. Debbi enjoys many genres of the performing arts and spends much of her free time supporting her daughters’ endeavors in the arts of acting, musical theater and music performance.
