Dennis is an “east coast transplant” from New York. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in political science and music from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his legal career, Dennis was an Information Technology Consultant with Deloitte Consulting and provided IT services to financial firms in Manhattan. Dennis subsequently received his Juris Doctor from Fordham Law University. He is a member of the New York bar, and is admitted to practice law in all California Courts, and the United States District Court, Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California.
Dennis’ representations include: successfully obtaining an injunction freezing $1.9 million of investment funds for a motion picture on behalf of plaintiff/director pending litigation in Los Angeles County Superior Court (Dark Hall Productions, LLC v. Sun Jee Yoo, et al.); defending proposed client trademarks against the National Football League based on similar color schematics of the New Orleans Saints; defending against copyright and trademark infringement claims concerning internet commerce of telecommunication products in United States District Court (Sysmaster Corporation v. Call Termination, et al.); opposing and prevailing on the first-known motion for fees filed by a borrower under the 2013 Homeowners’ Bill of Rights (Sese v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., et al.); prior to AFRCT, handling the litigation of a small business credit portfolio for JPMorgan Chase, N.A. and regularly obtaining interim orders appointing receivers for Cathay Bank and Rabobank, N.A. to protect collateral during loan default; representing local Korean businesses in the Los Angeles community including Samho Tour, Inc. and Todai Restaurant, LLC conversant in Korean.
Outside of the office, Dennis enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, and enjoys sports, music, and studying history.
