Robert C. Little’s primary responsibility is AFRCT’s appellate department, and he is also a member of its litigation department.
Robert has advised and represented individuals, business entities, banks, and public agencies in wide-ranging litigation in state and federal trial courts. Robert has handled cases—both plaintiff and defense-side—involving business, banking, employment, and real estate issues.
In addition to his experience as a litigator, Robert has served as appellate counsel in every district of the California Court of Appeal, in the California Supreme Court, in numerous appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and before the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
Robert earned his J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University, and his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Federal and District of Columbia Circuits, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Robert is a member of the Appellate Courts section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the California Bankers Association (CBA), and the California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA). His public service record includes adjudicating proceedings as a temporary judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
