Barbara Bollero is Senior Counsel with over 30 years’ experience practicing litigation in four states, including Maryland, Illinois, California and Washington.
For the past 17 years, she has represented individuals, associations and corporate entities in federal and state trial and appellate courts in Washington State. Before that she litigated matters throughout southern and central California for 10 years.
Barb’s current practice is focused on defending banks, loan servicers, other financial institutions and Trustees against wrongful foreclosure, consumer protection, federal and state lending, title defect, lien priority and other lending, regulatory, compliance and servicing claims.
Barb was first licensed to practice law in Texas, where she was awarded her J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law and was an invited member of the Legal Research Board. She holds a B.A. degree as a James Scholar from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she also earned graduate credits.
Barb is admitted to practice law before all the state courts and several U.S. District Courts for Washington and California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. She holds inactive bar licenses in the states of Illinois, Maryland and Texas.
She has broad complex litigation experience in other matters including inaccurate survey claims, homeowners’ association disputes, construction defects, insurance coverage, bad faith, indemnification, environmental remediation, class actions, multi-district litigation and appellate issues.
She has tried cases involving foreclosures, real property, unlawful detainer, premises liability, agency and other disputes, and has won a significant majority of summary judgment motions, arbitration awards and trial verdicts.
