Michael graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2002. During law school, Michael worked for a summer in Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker’s London office, where he performed due diligence in their M&A division. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and business administration from UCLA, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys skiing, numismatics, chess, film production, and the often futile pursuit of beating his wife at golf.

  • His practice focuses on a broad range of state and federal litigation with an emphasis on business torts, lender liability matters, and contract disputes;

  • Recently, Michael successfully defended several lawsuits brought against lenders under California’s 2013 Homeowners’ Bill of Rights.
